ADMISSION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
We LOVE working with American students living abroad. Applying to college while living in another country presents its own unique set of challenges. Students living outside of the U.S. have an amazing advantage over domestic applicants. Typically, their breadth of life experience lends a broader scope to their application process. We are well versed in helping International students select colleges that will appreciate all that they have to offer and then crafting an application that will appeal to admissions counselors across the United States. Because we have extensive knowledge of colleges and universities in the U.S., we are also able help students identify specific schools that meet their list of wants and needs.
FINE PRINT
Except in rare circumstances, My Admissions Sherpa's Counselors are not available by phone or email after 9 pm, or on holidays. Most meetings take place via phone or internet. Please note the number of hours that a counselor spends working on a student’s applications is limited by the agreed upon terms. In the event that a student and family would like to add additional hours, they will be billed hourly. Students are expected to complete assignments between meetings. My Admissions Sherpa's Counselors will guide, support, and assist students but will not write essays and resumes or fill out applications for students. It is strongly recommended that students apply to a healthy selection of 'safety schools'. My Admissions Sherpa cannot guarantee admission to any specific school.
