CONCIERGE PACKAGE
 

This package offers the student up to 35 hours of support for up to seven college applications.  The services provided may vary and will cater specifically to the personal needs of each unique student.

 

Your private consultant will....

• Help you develop and refine your criteria for selecting schools that meet your individual criteria.

• Assist you in developing and narrowing down a personalized list of prospective schools that corresponds with your academic achievements, preferences, and goals for the college selection process.

• Do all relevant research regarding schools, admissions policies, undergraduate programs, and student life issues.

• Communicate information in a timely manner and present it in either a written summary or a spreadsheet

• Conduct cursory research regarding college visitations. Travel arrangements must be made by individual families.

• Show you how to research schools independently.

• Determine which schools on your list accept the Common, Coalition, or school-specific applications.  

• Compile all writing supplements and streamline the number of essays you have to write.

• Work with you to develop all application essays and short answer questions: determine topics, generate outlines, and edit multiple drafts.

• Offer guidance regarding standardized tests.

• Make appropriate suggestions regarding supplemental material to be sent out with you applications 

• Help you write a resume of activities

• Remind you and your parents of every deadline as it approaches....multiple times.

• Conduct mock interviews to help you prep for face-to-face meetings with admissions counselors

• This service includes up to 35 hours.  Additional work is billed hourly.  The full-service fee is paid in two installments, spaced equally from the commencement of services to November 1 of your senior year.  Services will continue to be rendered until the maximum number of hours is reached and or you complete the application process

• If you have completed all admissions applications and have hours left, the remaining hours may be used towards scholarship and honors programs applications and essays.

• Please note that you and your parents will select the services that effectively meet your needs but will not be able to take advantage of all services listed above in the given time frame

• *This packages typically offer enough time to complete up to 7 applications.

• Please note that Schreyer Honors Program requires an additional 10 essays ranging in length from 400 to 800 words each which will take approximately 10-15 hours of work between consultant and student. This additional time is not included in either package and will be charged separately per hour.
